We are a well-established family firm of accountants providing a full array of of business, professional and personal accountancy services to clients across a wide variety of business and private sectors.
Our roots date back to 1947 when my grandfather, Eddie Harris, established his accountancy practice in Edgware, North West London. His business was further developed by my father, John Murray's, who, although now in semi-retirement, is still involved with professional work. In fact, you could describe our family as “serial accountants”!
Now firmly established in Chesham, most of our clients are local though we practice across the UK. In 2007 we celebrated 60 years and three generations in the business. Thanks for visiting our site. We hope you find our services useful and contact us soon.

We like to think of ourselves as friends to our clients and we find that relationship is often reciprocated. Every client has individual needs and we don't simply push a package of services at them and expect them to accept it. We really do structure the service we provide you around what it is that you need. We're very much in the dog-wagging-the-tail camp.
better communication
We're available to our clients when they want to talk to us. We understand that business isn't simply a 9 - 5 issue any more. Often critical decisions need to be made around the clock. When something happens you need to know that you can get advice straight away. Our client communications are pro-active: we try to provide information for you before you may even be aware that you need it!
fixed fees
There's little point in paying someone to save you money if you then have to hand that money over to them for the privilege! Most of our services are provided on a fixed-fee basis agreed with the client in advance and with no hidden extras. That's the way to keep costs down!
local community
We're committed participants in the local community and, as such, have been sponsors of the Bucks County Show and Wycomber Wanderers for over a decade. We also engage ethusiastically in the activities of local business groups.
